I purchased the shaggy angora goat on the wood mount for a gift for my neice. Loved how the wood grain comes through on the print. Excellent purchase! Would definitely purchase again.

This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Artist's Description

In this photograph, the tall slender building on the left is the Mather Tower, a 521-foot-high building that was briefly the tallest building in Chicago at the time of its completion in 1928. As a side note, the top floor of the octagonal spire has only 280 feet. The Trump Tower directly behind the Mather Tower was constructed in 2005 and is almost three times taller than the Mather Tower at 1,362 feet with spire included. To the right of the Mather Tower is the London Guarantee and Accident Building built in 1923. This was the location of Fort Dearborn, the first permanent settlement that would eventually become Chicago. In front of the Mather Tower along the bottom of the picture frame is the Old Republic Building built in 1925. Finally, the right side of the frame is the 333 North Michigan building built in 1928.

About Chicago In Photographs

Chicago In Photographs

""Chicago has its own vibe... Indeed our city is so much more than a beautiful skyline. From the C.T.A trains' rumbling overhead to the iconic architecture spanning 140 years, to the diversity of its people, Chicago is more than the sum of its parts. With a plethora of unique sights and sounds that can sometimes go unnoticed, this website attempts to be different from the ordinary stock photography website. Through these photographs, I've tried to capture the soul and essence of our magnificent city."" All proceeds will be donated to Chicago's Cornerstone Community Outreach in honor of photographer Richard Cleis, 1965-2021.
